Celebrating 60 Years of Chloe
Posted by Jennifer on Apr 12th 2013
It’s time to celebrate 60 years of Chloe & start shopping! If you’re not familiar with Chloe, Gaby Aghion founded the house of Chloe in Paris in 1952, nudging fashion into a completely new fabulous era of the “luxury ready-to-wear” movement.
While living on the Left Bank, Gaby thrived with so many of the famous artists and writers around her. It was there that she created her first collections. Her first shows were at iconic places such as the Brasserie Lipp & Cafe de Flore, popular hangouts for the up and coming of that time.
Aghion said, “All I ever wanted was for Chloe to have a happy spirit, & to make people happy.” And boy, does it ever. We couldn’t be happier to celebrate all Aghion created, especially the Heritage collection.
You really can’t go wrong with any of our vintage Chloe items. Perfect for any cocktail party, check out the Chloe Vintage 1980s Black Long Sleeved Dress. This number can be lots of fun, think: heels, layered pearl necklaces, and a pop of color on your lips.
