Emilio Pucci’s Still Got It
Posted by Sylver Penney on Aug 8th 2013
This week’s TBT is the time Sheffield and I went to Emilio Pucci‘s 60th Anniversary! It was so much fun, and I felt like the coolest cat in the room, I still use the perfume I got from their goodie bags. (I love freebies, doesn’t everyone?)
Pucci has been my aunt’s favorite designer since before I could walk, and I was an early bloomer. She loves Pucci that she named her little dog Pucci!
Emilio Pucci started in 1947 when Marquis Emilio Pucci designed himself a ski suit and it ended up being the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine. He was crowned the “King of Prints” by the international media for his prints that were considered to be so radical at the time.
Today, Pucci is one of the higher end labels that can be found at Bendels, Neiman Marcus and for the best prices around can be found here, at BackInStyle.com.
