A couple weeks ago I blogged about the dress Kate Middleton wore as she announced Prince George to the world. As usual, she looked stunning and happy and brought back a trend that was almost fading away, polka dots, oh I love polka dots.
Marie Claire magazine recently had a segment in their Style section on polka dots and how they are an instant classic, “the timeless, playful pattern runs circles around the rest.” Polka dots began in 1928 when Minnie Mouse debuted a red and white spotted skirt, since then, fashion has never been the same. This season, the dots are back and are bigger and better than ever. Miu Miu has them, White House Black Market has them, Chloe has them, they’re everywhere and they’re here to stay.
